Modifications Made by This App
The following derivations have been applied to the source data:
1. Data integration & restructuring — Headwords, senses, definitions, and examples reorganized into an 11-language unified structure (English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, French, Arabic, Mongolian).
2. Conjugation mappings — Regular and irregular Korean conjugation paradigms applied to map surface forms (e.g., 도와, 그래, 먹었어요) to base forms (돕다, 그렇다, 먹다).
3. Homograph numbering — Numeric superscripts (¹·²·³) added to disambiguate same-spelled headwords with different meanings.
4. Full-text search indexes — Indexes added for partial matching across Korean, Romanization, and multilingual definitions.
5. Romanization mappings — Two romanization systems mapped (Revised Romanization + McCune-Reischauer).
6. TOPIK level annotations — Headwords annotated with TOPIK levels 1–6.
7. Storage format conversion — Source XML/JSON converted to a format suitable for mobile app distribution.
Media Handling
Audio pronunciations and images are NOT redistributed in this app's database. They are streamed directly from KRDict's servers (dicmedia.korean.go.kr) when a user opens a word detail page, in compliance with the policy that media files have separate licensing.
Data Redistribution Requests
Per the ShareAlike clause of CC BY-SA 2.0 KR, the modified SQLite database (kori.db, plaintext) is available under the same license upon request.

본 앱이 가한 변경 사항 (2차 저작물 공지)
본 앱은 한국어기초사전의 원본 데이터에 다음과 같은 가공을 수행했습니다:
1. 데이터 통합 및 재구성 — 표제어·의미·정의·예문 데이터를 11개 언어(영어·일본어·중국어·베트남어·태국어·인도네시아어·러시아어·스페인어·프랑스어·아랍어·몽골어) 통합 구조로 정리.
2. 활용형 자동 매핑 — 한국어의 정칙·불규칙 활용 paradigm을 적용하여, 학습자가 자주 입력하는 활용형(예: 도와, 그래, 먹었어요)에서 기본형(돕다, 그렇다, 먹다)을 자동으로 찾을 수 있도록 매핑 데이터 생성.
3. 동음이의어 구분 표시 — 같은 표제어가 여러 의미를 가질 때 ¹·²·³ 슈퍼스크립트로 구분 표시.
4. 풀텍스트 검색 인덱스 — 한글·로마자·다국어 정의에 대한 부분 일치 검색을 지원하는 인덱스 추가.
5. 로마자 표기 매핑 — 국어의 로마자 표기법(RR) + 매큔-라이샤워식(MR) 두 표기 시스템 매핑.
6. TOPIK 등급 정보 매핑 — 표제어별 TOPIK 1~6급 분류 정보 부여.
7. 모바일 앱 사용에 적합한 저장 형식 변환 — 원본 XML/JSON 데이터를 모바일 앱에 적합한 형식으로 변환·저장.
미디어 파일 처리
발음 오디오(audio_file), 사진/일러스트(multimedia) 등의 미디어 파일은 본 앱 DB에 재배포하지 않습니다. 사용자가 단어 상세 페이지를 열 때 KRDict 공식 서버(dicmedia.korean.go.kr)에서 직접 스트리밍합니다.
이는 KRDict 저작권 정책의 "미디어 파일은 별도 라이선스 적용" 조항을 준수하기 위함입니다.
데이터 재배포 요청
CC BY-SA 2.0 KR의 ShareAlike 조항에 따라, 본 앱의 가공된 SQLite DB(kori.db, 평문)를 요청하시면 동일 라이선스로 제공해 드립니다.
